How is Texas Rapid Different?

We are a lot cheaper than our competitors on radio and service cost with a lot of the same features and more of a closed circuit of communication. We also have professional dispatcher's to respond to your employees at the drop of a dime.  Our platform is a closed software for you and your officers. Every company will have a countywide channel for mutual-aid. Not everyone on our server can run records check only qualified licensed companies are allowed to on a private channel. Record results are not presented over the radio.

RADIO/NETWORK PERFORMANCE

Closed Circuit Platform

Closed circuit communication is a communication technique or system that does not exchange information with external sources. It is self-contained and avoids misunderstandings by repeating and confirming messages. An example of a closed-circuit communication system is closed-circuit television (CCTV), which uses video cameras to transmit signals to a specific place. In our case we use it for radio communications.

POC Networking Technology

Private Channels

In networking terms, POC stands for "Point of Connection. It is also used in the context of Power-over-Cable (PoC), which is based on the principle of simultaneously providing both data signal and power from one device to another over the same cable2. In addition, POC can also refer to Push to talk over cellular (PoC), a service that allows a cellphone to be used as a walkie-talkie.

By using secure channels and data encryption, schools, hospitals, security companies, and other organizations can safely and privately communicate without worrying about interference from consumer radios. A receiving radio that has a privacy code set will not un-mute its speaker unless that code is sent along with a transmission.

POC Radios

Two-way radios, also known as walkie-talkies, are commonly used in the law enforcement and security industries. Security personnel use these devices to communicate with each other in real-time, allowing for quick and efficient responses to emergencies and other critical situations. Two-way radios can also be equipped with features such as GPS tracking, emergency buttons, and noise-cancellation technology, making them valuable tools for maintaining safety and security.
